The wedding anniversary calculator turns your wedding date into two things you actually want to know: exactly how long you have been married, and how many days remain until your next anniversary. Enter the date you married and it does the rest.

Couples often remember the year they married but lose track of the precise total, especially once it climbs into the teens. This tool gives you the exact figure — the complete years, plus the extra months and days on top — so you know your marriage to the day. As the milestone approaches, the built-in countdown tells you how long you have to plan a celebration, book a table, or arrange a gift, and it names the weekday your anniversary falls on this year.

Behind the result is careful calendar math. The years married are counted using the real length of each month, so an anniversary at the end of a month is measured correctly, and a 29 February wedding date falls back to 28 February in years that do not have one. The next-anniversary countdown always rolls forward to the upcoming occasion, so once this year's anniversary passes it immediately begins counting toward next year's.

A future date is rejected, since you cannot yet have a wedding anniversary for a wedding that has not happened.
