The date itself is your date of birth plus your retirement age in whole years, with leap-day and month-end birthdays handled correctly. From there, the remaining time is counted from today as complete years, then months, then days, using the real length of each month so nothing is rounded. Because the day count runs in UTC, it stays stable across time zones and daylight-saving changes.
